Rocky Mountain National Park
Photo of the day #30

Random photo from my collection.
Zac and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park for our honeymoon in 2017. It’s a stunningly beautiful national park. The variety and magnitude of landscapes in the area are breathtaking. I’d have to retrace my steps here to figure out where this exact photo was taken, and I’m trying to rush through this post. What is funny to me in this photo is the photographer on the left edge of the photo. I looked back in the folder and saw that Zac actually took this shot. So I don’t know if I’m the camera person shown in the photo or not. But here’s an alternate view of the scene. Dozens of tourists, ourselves included, stopped and got out of their cars to photograph this wild animal. My shot is taken with a zoom lens at 250mm (the max of the lens). We stood right by our van with the doors open, ready to go in. Zac might have even taken his shot from inside. Just when I thought I was crazy for taking these photos from my vantage point, there were people even crazier and closer to the wildlife.
