Zac and I had our anniversary dinner at 3 PM at Curious Goods at Bake Oven Inn. It’s our go-to place for special occasions. The food is consistently creative and delicious, the service is always excellent, and the location is what makes us feel at home. It’s nestled on a winding backroad through the historic village of Germansville, where many early German immigrants settled in the 1700s. It’s really a delight.

On this particular anniversary dinner, we drove around and took some photos after dinner since it was still early. There is just something about these green, rolling landscapes that fuels my soul. It’s made even better by the seemingly weathered farmhouse out in the distance, extending out to the soft blue mountains on the horizon. I feel extremely fortunate to have grown up in Pennsylvania, getting to experience seasons, mountains, green landscapes, vast farms, and the simple beauty of nature.
