Photo of the Day #17

It was a hot one

Random photo from my collection.

The sun beating overhead, and sweat dripping from my temples.

I had to look at the date on the photo to know if there were two kids with us or one. The date tells me I was four months pregnant. I remember bouncing from pop-up tent to pop-up tent to try to get some relief from the heat. Elisabeth would have been 2 years old. The kids have never been too good with heat. I can only imagine how miserable she was. I went from vendor to vendor taking photos of Stahl’s Pottery Festival (Sorry, Casey, I don’t know if I ever sent you those photos!). This is probably the year I did drone footage, too. The craft fair is a lot of fun, showcasing the works of dozens of talented artists and artisans. The property itself is really neat, too; you can tour the buildings and watch a live demonstration. It would probably be more enjoyable had Zac and I not have to take turns wrestling a 2 year old.
